“When I found Jen, my hormones were completely out of whack, I had secondary infertility, no energy and excess weight gain. I felt groggy, exhausted, and so guilty for not being physically/mentally available to my family more. Working with Jen gave me more pieces to the puzzle of what "health" looks like for me. My fertility markers had been absent for a long time and even before that my cycles had always been very very irregular. Three months and being consistent and my cycles are becoming a little more predictable and my fertility markers have returned so my hope for a new addition to our family has returned full force. I no longer have the grogginess, my energy is up, I am not as irritable with my loved ones and I am enjoying life once again.
Jen helped fill in some missing elements to my journey. For example I didn't realize "gluten-free" didn't necessarily mean "wheat-free". This one thing has helped me to make better food choices. I also spend less time in the kitchen fretting and more time with my husband and kids doing the things we love. My weight hasn't changed much but I feel a million times better and the scale doesn't define me. Jen also helped me to get out of the perfectionist mindset...it's okay that things are a little messy sometimes and I am not failing. Thank you for everything Jen! “I was experiencing weekly seizures in my sleep and it was my biggest frustration, but also not sticking to a ketosis diet on my own. I wouldn't feel well the day after my seizure up to three days afterwards. Sometimes I was unable to work the next day and hard to focus for a few days after, therefore I got behind on work, class work and workouts. Jen’s program helped me stay focused on what I was putting into my body. Weekly "in-person" check-ins were very helpful for me. “I had problems with my ADHD symptoms and my brain function, as well as physical symptoms/reactions to many foods. I had no understanding of where these symptoms/reactions were coming from and my diet became very inconsistent. Before my 12 week program, I struggled daily with issues such as brain fog, low energy, sleeping problems, inability to focus, struggling with memory, as well as my gut being affected with physical symptoms.
